When is comes to vegan restaurants in Seville, there is actually only one fully vegan restaurant open for dinner. However, there are two vegetarian restaurants with many vegan options available. I tried them both even though they both belong to the same owners.
Bar Ecologico Gaia (Luis de Vargas 4)
This is a vegetarian restaurant offering some vegan dishes. I had a risotto with seitan. It wasn’t the best I’ve had, and the dish was quite dry. I was hoping to have some kind of side salad with it.
Organic’s (Calle Jose de Melilla 3)
This belongs to the same owners as Bar Ecologico Gaia but is more focused on tapas. If I wasn’t too impressed with the first one, this restaurant was even worse. Everything you can imagine went wrong. Firstly, the waitress didn’t even know what vegan means (C’mon, you are working in a vegetarian restaurant!). Then she messed up my order and brought me something I didn’t order. Then when I finally got my dish, I realize that half of it is missing. I asked what’s this, why is my dish missing half of the ingredients. She just answered that we don’t have those right. Maybe she should have told me that BEFORE I ordered! I also ordered a “fresh” watermelon juice which tasted like it was weeks old and could give me food poisoning. I didn’t even bother taking pictures because all of my dishes looked just sad.
Milk Away (Calle Hernando Colon 3)
This is not a vegan cafe, but they offer a lot of options for vegans. You can choose from smoothies and juices to acai bowls and sandwiches. Everything is freshly prepared.
Puro & Bio Gelato (Paseo de Cristobal Colon 9)
This gelateria offers a few vegan gelato flavors as well as vegan frozen yogurt. I tried the frozen yogurt with several toppings, and it was heavenly good!
